Yard Engineering is a family owned company located at Gold Coast City Marina at Coomera Marine Precinct, the heart of the marine activities in the State of Queensland. We at Yard Engineering pride ourselves in serving our customers to their full satisfaction. To this respect Golam Chowdhury, an engineer by profession with over 20 years of experience in the marketing of Yanmar marine diesel engines, Wagner Hydraulic steering gears and various other marine and fishing equipment is available to offer technical advice to customers' varying needs.

Our motto will continue to be the right product for the right job supported by sound technical advice. To this extent we both serve our Principals and customers alike with the best possible outcome for the end users.

Over the years our business has grown from a humble begining at the family home garage to our present location --a 200 sq. meter office cum warehouse facility with a purpose built showroom for all equipment we promote and distribute in Australia and New Zealand and neighbouring Islands. This all have been possible due to the enormous support extended by our current client base to whom we woe our success and our determination to serve them well into the future with equal dedication.

To this date we have concluded supplies for a number of major projects. Some are listed below:

• Wagner Full Follow Up electro-hydraulic steering system for the 43.5m Luxury Motor Yachts built by Shipworks Brisbane in 2003.
• Kobelt Pneumatic control system for the Sea link Ferry built by Austal Ships in 2003.
• Supply of a 900 Autoprop fore the 85 Ft Yacht "China Groove II". The yacht is designed by Paul Stanton designs and built by Boat Speed, an exclusive high performance yacht builder in NSW.
• Supplied 3 x 630mm Autoprops for the 75 Ft Catamaran "SOLAR SAILOR" built in 1998. The propellers are powered by Electric Motors which are powered by Solar Cells, a technique perfected by Advanced Craft Technologies In NSW. The vessel was built by well known sailor Kanga Birtles of Jarkan Yachts.
• Supplied 1 x 900mm H62 Autoprop and 2 x 534mm H6 Autoprops for the 25.6m 80 ton super yacht built at the Gold Coast built in 2006. This yacht has a main engine and two wing engines, intended for long distance blue water cruising.
• Supplied a 30KW Eberspacher Hydronic heater and associated accessories for the 30m Catamaran built by Innovation Marine at the Coast Coast in 2004 intended for a South African owner.
• "Synergy Reef Sailing" a catamaran based at Port Douglas has been fittted with 2 x 504mm Autoprop since May 1999. The boat has been re-powered with larger engines and owner still prefered the larger Autoprops. We re-built the two Autoprops in May 2004 using larger 534mm blades and the existing Hubs.
